AFL Recruitment Campaign

Client: AFL (Industry-leading fiber optics manufacturer)

I partnered with the social media team at AFL, to develop a video strategy that would boost recruitment efforts and highlight AFL’s standout workplace culture. The result was a three-part video series that gave prospective employees a genuine look inside the company—through the voices of the people who know it best.

Video Series Developed:

Faces of AFL
Short-form videos featuring current employees sharing why they chose AFL, why they stay, and what they love about working there.

Why AFL

A standalone reel combining testimonials from various employees answering the question “Why AFL?”—spotlighting shared values like teamwork, growth, and workplace satisfaction.​​

Career Journeys

Personal stories from employees who advanced or transitioned into new roles within AFL, showcasing internal mobility and growth.

My Contributions

  • Concept development in partnership with the social media team

  • Full-cycle video production: planning, filming, interviewing, editing

  • Developed branded animated intros for each video format

  • Selected and edited compelling sound bites from employee interviews

Impact

  • Humanized the brand with authentic employee voices

  • Highlighted diverse career paths and workplace settings
