Houston Healthcare’s Employee of the Quarter program was originally a low-visibility internal initiative. Quarterly recognition videos averaged only 10–15 views on the company intranet and primarily featured the CEO speaking. I identified opportunities to improve the format, visibility, and strategic use of this content to better celebrate our employees and support broader recruitment and branding goals.

My Contributions:

Proposed a new video format focused on employee stories over long-form interviews

Directed and edited the new format with tighter pacing and storytelling

Led cross-departmental collaboration to transition videos to public-facing platforms

Integrated marketing strategy by adding career site links to social posts

Key Achievements

Viewership increased on intranet from ~10 to ~50 views per video

Social media expanded overall reach significantly, with average views of 2,796 per video across social channels, and 8,181 per video on Facebook alone

Career site engagement: 81 link clicks to the careers page recorded from Q4 Employee of the Quarter video posts
